The Director of Patient Financial Services Assists in regulation the low of patients through the admission process for all hospital services. Perform a variety of specialized clerical duties; promotes good customer service, conducts themselves in accordance with hospital mission and values statement. This position supports the Mission of the Hospital by providing an environment that allows for provision of distinctive and compassionate care to our patients. Qualifications Able to read and write English fluently. Bilingual preferred. Computer experience with Window program. Knowledge of Medical terminology. Manages all inpatient, outpatient, clinic admitting operations. Monitors and reviews admissions and clinic registrations to ensure accurate financial and biographical data and documentation have been obtained and properly entered into the records. Develops implements and maintains currency on policies, procedures, forms; reviews department policies and procedures and updates them appropriately to ensure compliance with local, State, and Federal guidelines. Monitors the scheduling and waiting times of patients. Manages the insurance verification and financial aspects of admissions. Monitors work schedules for all departmental personnel to ensure adequate staffing. Controls hiring, promotions, terminations and appropriate disciplinary measures consistent with policy. Develops a program to analyze and identify trends in quality problems; plans corrective action plan, additional training or other measures to improve quality. Reviews daily productivity reports to ensure the quality, currency and appropriate volume of work in the intake process. Completes accurate and timely monthly budget and expense schedules; prepares variance explanations and implements changes to remain within budgets. Monitors total hours worked in department and keeps overtime within budget guidelines. Educates staff in the importance of accurate of details and consistent follow-through in the data collection of patient demographics and all insurance information. Meets the Director of Business Office to review registration errors, identify trends, and make appropriate analysis and recommendations for improvement. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for Kiwi Recovery Roles including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that Kiwi Recovery, in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

$136,739.00 – $170,934.00 per year
