Days 8×5•40hrs/week•8-4:30pm or 8:30a-5p Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at a busy dental clinic. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of service from the moment they enter our clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical receptionist role and be familiar with HIPAA regulations, medical billing, and patient care plans. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Accurately collect and input patient information into electronic medical records. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, including Medicare coverage. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s appointment calendar. Handle patient inquiries regarding care plans, billing, and medical records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow within the clinic. Assist in maintaining an organized reception area and ensure all necessary forms are available for patients. Requirements Prior experience in a business setting providing customer service, while simultaneously processing and verifying electronic demographic, financial or other business-related information and data. 6 months experience in a hospital/healthcare settings Must be Local COVID Vaccine + Booster + FLU Shot required
