PM Pay:

$20/hour | $800/week

40 (Guaranteed)

Job Summary:

Mt. Auburn Hospital is seeking highly motivated Patient Access Representatives for a 13-week travel assignment. In this front-line role, you’ll be the welcoming face of the hospital and will play a crucial role in managing patient check-ins, verifying insurance details, and delivering an exceptional experience to all patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Register patients for scheduled visits and assist with Kiosk check-in. Collect and process patient co-pays, deductibles, and other balances. Complete and evaluate Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaires. Obtain necessary signatures on consent and financial documents. Counsel patients on non-covered services and ABNs. Monitor patient waiting areas to ensure efficient flow and experience. Conduct follow-up registrations for inpatients with incomplete information. Address patient concerns and escalate safety issues when appropriate. Maintain a clean and confidential workspace at the registration desk.

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior experience in a business or medical office environment providing customer service and managing electronic demographic and financial data .

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ⚠
