This role is essential to our practice, as the Patient Services Team are the first point of contact for patients arriving for their appointments. The Patient Services role is a customer service role at our busy medical practice.

Daily tasks include:

Greet and check in patients for appointments Verify insurance and demographic information Process co-payments Schedule patients for follow-up or future appointments Answer patient phone calls regarding appointments Ensure our patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and have the best experience possible at our practice Candidates should have: High school education or equivalent Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, manage time effectively and perform under pressure Customer support/service experience Active listening and good communication skills Ability to use/learn a multi-line phone and basic computer systems (Word processing, database navigation) Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different patient needs Medical office experience a plus Acton Medical Associates, PC is an equal opportunity employer.
