Summary:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) – Practice Operations role greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answers telephones, schedules appointments, and performs other overall general office duties as assigned. The PSR will also collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data while complying with the federal, state and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications:
Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
Experience:
One year of experience in customer service or data entry in a healthcare environment preferred. Computer experience required.
