Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Responsible for being trauma aware, sensitive and responsive to youth, families and colleagues through the completion of new hire and annual trauma informed education/training. Field all intake inquiries from referral sources Review and process all incoming referrals provided by referrals sources through fax, phone, or email. Secures available information such as medical, psychological, educational, and social factors contributing to client’s situation. Refers clients to community resources and other organizations when needed. Compiles records and prepares reports. Schedule and conduct intake; completing intake paperwork with clients and legal guardians. Maintain professional language and actions at all times with clients, visitors and staff. Establishes client digital file upon admission. Keep privileged information confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Secure insurance authorizations for services Assist with maintaining client records Assist with front desk coverage i. Answer phone ii. Sort mail iii. Check visitors in and out iv. coverage during daily breaks for primary clerical staff v. vacation coverage for primary clerical staff Other duties as assigned #

INDHP Qualifications:

Candidates must have 2 years’ experience working with children in a field related to Mental Health, or Services Delivery. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BSW preferable) Skills Time management Organizational skills Multi-tasking Flexibility Great people skills Professional phone etiquette Great customer service

Job Type:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 am till 5 pm
