The Registration Coordinator is responsible for registration of patients, verification of insurance benefits, pre certifications and verification of demographic information. Responsibilities Manage patient registration processes accurately and efficiently. Verify insurance benefits and ensure pre-certifications are completed as required. Update and confirm accurate demographic information for all patients. Collect and process payments, ensuring proper posting to patient accounts. Assist patients with financial assistance applications when needed. Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements throughout the registration process. This position is deemed •essential •. Essential staff are expected to report to work during inclement weather. Qualifications Bilingual skills preferred. Must be currently enrolled in High School. Able to work weekends, holidays and shift rotations as needed. The following, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this position: Understanding of medical terminology. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Basic proficiency in using computers and software like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Working Conditions/Physical Demand Primary office environment/workstation. Potential exposure to communicable disease.
