The ideal candidate will be a patient-focused individual with superb communication and organizational skills. As the Patient Access Representative (PAR), you will be responsible for performing administrative and data entry services to include collecting payments, medical records and data processing. The PAR will serve as the receptionist and provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to all clients and families visiting the clinic.
- Employee is subject to be called upon anytime to help the agency respond to a public health emergency which may include, but is not limited to, outbreak investigations, staffing mass dispensing or immunization clinics, providing disaster relief, or other incidents (man-made or natural and intentional or non-intentional) as they arise, or any public health response requested by the Health Director.
The Patient Access Representative will make an impact in the TB Health Clinic by: Providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our patients Assist patients with registering for their medical appointments Accurately enter patient information into the computer system and verifying patient insurance/financial information Collect and/or verify payment information from patients Maintain patient files and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations Respond to and resolve patient inquiries in a timely manner Complete daily report form for appointments, production, charges, monies collected, batch report totals, drawer start off and petty cash along with corporate practice management system end of the day receipt report totals to Accounting at the close of each day Performs other necessary duties as required by the TB/Refugee Health Clinic About Our Team Wake County Health and Human Services (WCHHS) is the consolidation of programs and services that include social services, public health, job search assistance, child support, and transportation.
