Cottage Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Representative Supervisor to lead and support our front office team at the Rowe Health Center. Job Summary:

The Patient Service Representative Supervisor plays a key leadership role in our outpatient registration team. This position oversees daily front desk operations, ensures accurate patient registration in the electronic medical record (EMR), and acts as a liaison between patients and clinical staff. The Supervisor also trains new staff, assists with scheduling and coverage, and supports the Director with administrative and operational tasks. This is a fast-paced, highly visible position that requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information Process patient registrations and update electronic medical records Train and support new Patient Registration staff Oversee front desk staffing, review timecards, and manage daily operations in the absence of the Director Run daily reports and monitor worklists for registration accuracy and follow-up Collaborate with all departments to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent customer service Qualifications
Experience
Preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative or front office role required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in medical office management or healthcare administration preferred.
