Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a Patient Services Liaison in our residential program at Farnum! In this role, the individual will act as the first point of contact, welcoming clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, providing strong administrative services and efficiently managing and implementing the intake process to the appropriate programs. In addition to the above, the Patient Services Liaison will be responsible for: Provide administrative assistance to include answering telephones, coping, scanning, producing letters, reports and related documents.
Answer telephones for facility and department, promptly noting correspondence messages in client’s contacts.
Completion of the intake process to include: Completion of all admission documentation and forms, review client rights and responsibilities, consent to treat and fee determinations, and verification of insurance information as necessary.
Review all financial obligations including: fees, financial arrangements for services provided, collection and posting of fees and co-pays.
Coordinates appropriate team involvement and treatment team member assignment upon admission. Coordinates the distribution, maintenance and receipt of all required documentation, according to State, Agency regulations and referral sources.
Conducts client searches prior to admission onto the unit with the support of residential staff.
Ensures compliance with state regulations and licensing standards as well as department and Agency policies and procedure.
Works collaboratively with internal clinical and medical providers to ensure high quality care.
Properly and accurately, communicates observations and other data related to the condition of the client to the primary clinician as appropriate.
Maintain an organized workspace, storage and office area. Order supplies and arrange for maintenance of all office equipment, when necessary.
Attends trainings and follows the employee training plan guidelines.
Qualifications:
High School education, GED or related experience
Required experience with MS Word
Experience in the area of addiction services preferred
Experience working with culturally and clinically diverse populations
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good organizational skills, including ability to multitask
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation:
$17 hourly.
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week 8:30AM to 5PM.
