Our Wentworth Health Partners Great Bay Mental Health team consists of a psychiatric nurse practitioner, licensed clinical social workers, mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists to provide treatment, counseling and support for a variety of patient concerns. Our providers offer the following expert services and counseling for adults, children and adolescents, as well as couples and families, anxiety, aging & health, child & adolescent issues, family & relationship issues, life transitions, lifestyle & wellness, medication management, mood disorders, parenting & co-parenting, post-trauma issues and substance use disorders. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Patient Access Representative to join our team! This is an in-person position located at 15 Old Rollinsford Rd, Dover, NH. The schedule is Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 8:30 to 5:00pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to 6:00pm. Job Summary Summary Responsible for ensuring that all necessary information is accurately collected and recorded. Will work to provide a positive patient experience while obtaining the information necessary to facilitate patient care and billing processes. Does this position require Patient Care?   • Greet patients and families in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Verify insurance coverage and pre-authorization requirements
  • Collect and enter patient demographics and insurance information into electronic medical records
  • Ensure accurate and complete collection of patient demographic and insurance information
  • Obtain necessary signatures for consent and authorization forms
  • Resolve insurance and billing-related issues
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and work to resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient access and registration 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
