As a growing two-attorney firm, we are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and proactive Legal Assistant / Client Intake Coordinator who can wear multiple hats – serving as the first point of contact for our clients while also providing critical legal and administrative support. This hybrid role combines front-desk support, client intake, and paralegal-level case preparation. Ideal for someone who is empathetic, organized, and ready to make a real impact in people’s lives.

Who You Are:

You are an organized and adaptable professional with experience in a legal or administrative setting—ideally immigration. You communicate clearly, think critically, and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. You’re calm under pressure, fluent in both empathy and efficiency, and ready to grow with a mission-driven team.

What You’ll Do:

Client Intake & Frontline Support Serve as the first point of contact for potential and current clients—by phone, email, and online inquiries. Screen and triage calls to determine next steps; distinguish between new consultations and active client matters. Build rapport and trust through compassionate, culturally sensitive communication. Schedule consultations, maintain calendars for attorneys, and follow up on client matters. Legal & Administrative Support Assist attorneys in preparing, organizing, and submitting immigration documents and client files. Draft correspondence, cover letters, and legal forms under attorney supervision. Maintain accurate digital case files and manage case progress using legal software. Proofread and format documents with attention to detail. Coordinate with clients to gather information and supporting documents.

What You Bring:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate. 1-2 years of experience in a law office or immigration-related setting preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat. Experience with immigration case management software (Docketwise, LawLogix, etc.) is a plus. Fluency in Gujarati and/or Hindi is highly preferred but not required. Salary:

The expected salary range for this position is between $45,000 – $60,00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
