Job Overview:

The Babs Siperstein PROUD Center is NJ s first LGBTQ healthcare facility opening its doors in January 2017. We provide primary and specialty services to the LGBTQ community including same day sick visits, hormone replacement therapy and PrEP.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED required Minimum three years of experience in a medical office setting

Preferred:

Experience with or interest in LGBTQ+ health highly preferred Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Full-Time Essential Functions:

The Patient Services Representative works with the practice physicians, manager, and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient operations Prepare for patient visits, triage practice calls, schedules patient appointments, and performs routine clerical tasks Acts as a practice ambassador contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy
