Job Description
Education/Experience Minimum Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent with ability to type accurately a minimum of 30 wpm. Experience with office equipment, medical terminology and the application of data processing procedures.
Preferred:
Billing knowledge related to home health care and third party insurance. Prior experience in a hospital and/or medical office. Work Environment All work is performed in offices that require working in close quarters with other employees. The offices are air conditioned and heated. A variety of situations exist and include contact with patients. Gloves, masks, and gowns are worn per body fluid precautions, as needed.
