Role:

As a patient service representative, kindness and fairness are key as you use your customer service skills in patient interactions. You’ll collaborate with other team members to help ensure a smooth flow for the day.

Responsibilities include:

+ Welcomes patients + Verifies patient information and makes corrects in the computer system + Confirms appointment times, locations, and providers during check-in + Communicates delays to the front desk lead + Assists in ensuring appointments are confirmed + Assists in open and closing procedures + Prints daily appointment schedules and front desk reports + Verifies insurance through epaces, heathenet, healthplex + Inputs insurance information including active/expired dates + Sends appropriate patient messages + Assists patients in filling out forms + Collects co-payments including sliding scale nominal fee + Adheres to cash handling policy You will be primarily based at our Riverway location 1569 Niagara St., and will also travel to other Neighborhood sites as needed. PSR:

+ High school diploma or equivalent + Able to read, write and speak the English language. A second language of Spanish is preferred + Able to learn new software and computer systems + Strong attention to detail and customer service skills +

Starting rate $18.50 per hour.
