Fiscal Intermediary Bilingual Intake Specialist 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1650 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist with the ability to speak and write in Spanish and English to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our Fiscal Intermediary department. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for managing the intake process, ensuring that all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Responds to telephone and online inquiries about Fiscal Intermediary services. Gathers information and provides intake paperwork. Follows up on calls and e-mails to provide additional assistance if needed. Collects and reviews required paperwork. Communicates between the program, family, and circle of support throughout the intake process and through the budget launch. Enters new enrollment information into eVero and CHOICES. Maintains internal tracker of intake. Communicates complex intake situations to FI leadership team. Additional Responsibilities Adheres to Starbridge organizational values. Maintains knowledge of current activities and philosophies in the field. Attends outreach events and facilitates outreach to support Fiscal Intermediary (FI) growth and expansion. Supports all regulatory quality and compliance initiatives. Abides by Standards of Conduct, which incorporates the corporate compliance section Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of cultures Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of person-centered planning principles and practices preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Spanish language proficiency is required. High School diploma or equivalent required. Two years’ experience working with people with disabilities and families preferred.
