Connecting. Growing together. The Patient Access RepresentativeAssociate is responsible for greeting and welcoming patients inperson. Provides a standard registration process by collectingdemographic and financial data and enter information into aelectronic medical record.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greets and welcomes patient inperson
• Collects demographic and insurance information
• Checks inor interviews patient to complete appropriate paperwork
• Directspatient to their appointment or procedure
• May assist inscheduling add-on appointments
• Verifies eligibility and benefitsinformation for payers and interprets results
• Obtains signaturesfrom patients as needed
• Collects co-pay or deductibles andrespond to questions regarding financial assistance programsavailable. Refers complex questions as needed
• Uses resources,tools and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues
• Assists patient in completion of request for information forms andsubmits to appropriate department

Required Qualifications:

• 6 months ofcustomer service experience
• Intermediate level of proficiencywith Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to work on a per diembasis, morning, evening or night shift as the business requires

• 11:00pm
• Overnight
• 10:30pm
• 7:00am
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flexibility to occasionally work othershifts as business requires
• Revenue Cycle Experience
• Generaloffice experience

PLEASE NOTE

The sign-on bonus is only available toexternal candidates. Candidates who are currently working forUnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare or a related entity in a fulltime, part time or per diem basis (“Internal Candidates”) are noteligible to receive a sign on bonus. The salary range for this roleis $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay isbased on several factors including but not limited to local labormarkets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
