Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with ColumbiaDoctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area. Make a lasting impression on patients at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley as a Patient Registrar. In this role, you will navigation through our EMR to register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, obtain demographic details, insurance information and verification. You will ensure proper scheduling, record patient history and obtain pre-certification and authorization. Feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. This is a full time Monday-Friday 40-hour work week. Must be flexible with variable hours from 7:00 a.m.

- 1756 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516 Must be willing to travel/provide coverage across various Hudson Valley Medical Group locations listed above as needed.
Preferred Criteria:
- Knowledge of medical procedures, routines, regulations and medical terminology.
- Experience working in a busy out-patient practice.
- Orthopedics or Radiology experience.
Knowledge of Coding:
ICD 10, CPT-4, health insurance benefits/requirements.
- EMR experience/
EPIC Required Criteria:
- 1+ year of clerical experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Effective communication skills verbal and written.
- Superior Customer Service skills.
- Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.
- Must be detailed oriented, able to problem solve and work independently.
