Three Rivers Endodontics is a leading endodontic specialty practice committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive, team-oriented work environment. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team in the Pittsburgh region.

Position Summary:

As a Dental Insurance Coordinator, under the guidance of our Lead Billing Specialist and Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for understanding and working with the team on the patient revenue cycle through accurate and timely insurance verification/benefits eligibility and maintaining practice credentialing. Your role will be essential in ensuring accurate and timely financial operations that support both our patients and our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to treatment Update Open Dental with appropriate information Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Maintain accurate credentialing files Wok on billing and database projects as needed Collaborate with front desk and clinical staff to ensure accuracy of patient charts Back up support for Front Desk as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of dental insurance verification experience Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, coding (CDT), and EOB interpretation Proficiency with dental practice management software (Open Dental experience is a plus) Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of accuracy and attention to detail
