Job Description:
PURPOSE OF JOB
To complete an accurate patient registration for Emergency department services
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Accurately identify the patient and select the patient’s medical record Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields with patient Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service using automated resources and document accurately Identify and collect patient’s copayment for Emergency services as applicable 5. Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School or equivalent is required
Experience:
Hospital/Insurance experience preferred
