Carlisle, PASchedule:

37.5 hours/week; Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pmEarn $17.35/hourPosition DetailsThe intake coordinator is responsible for managing telephone and walk-in intake processes for mental health consumers of the Base Service Unit (BSU) and Merakey in Cumberland and Perry Counties. They complete consumer assessments, determine needs, prepare referrals, and input intake data into electronic record systems.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesForwarding completed intakes for liability determination and service provision.

Completing registration forms for consumers contacting the center, regardless of payer source, and forwarding them to the appropriate supervisors.

Referring consumers to suitable community services if our services do not meet their needs.

Responding to inquiries about programs, admission criteria, and waiting lists.

Arranging signed releases of information to obtain consumer details from previous treatment providers.

Maintaining information storage systems for past and present consumers.
