Patient Relations Medicus Eye Group 1655 East Greenville Street, Anderson, SC 29621 Full Time position working in Patient Relations. Applicant MUST have medical office experience. Prior experience working in Optometry or Ophthalmology is a plus! Responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, entering patient demographic and insurance information, verifying insurance, entering charges and posting patient payments, assisting patients with their accounts, scheduling return appointments, and handling money. Position requires accuracy, thoroughness and a good understanding of insurance procedures for referrals, co-pays, deductibles, and allowable. Must be able to multi-task and keep focus. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients in a friendly and professional manner. •Must have Computer & Typing background.•Familiar with EHR & Practice Management applications.•

Mon-Thur 8-5 & Fri 8-1
