Patient Services Representative Responsibilities:
Schedules patient appointments and manages check-in/check-out processes. Provides welcoming experience and top-notch customer service. Collects co-pays and post charges. Charge entry and patient balance processing. Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, information about the practice, etc. Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal.
Education Required:
High school diploma/GED.
Preferred:
Completion of or currently enrolled in a medical office assistant program Experience Must have 2 years of experience working in an administrative or scheduling capacity in an office setting Must be skilled in MS Office Suite, including Excel. Exposure to a medical records management system and/or scheduling software preferred.
