JOB PURPOSE

This position will provide administrative and program support by coordinating activities of assigned administrative personnel, monitoring data analysis, providing information, recommendations, and/or direction as requested by assigned administrator(s).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains a wide variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements.
Responds and initiates a variety of inquiries from internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of providing or receiving information, school records, and /or facilitating communication among parties.
Advances the mission and vision of the School District and the Agency.
Displays professionalism and leadership by following established school, agency, federal policies and procedures.
Performs other related job duties as assigned
Minimum and Additional Requirements

STATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the education division.
Ability to exercise judgement and discretion.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
Understand, execute, and convey complicated oral/written instructions.
Limited overnight travel.
This position performs job duties relating to the custody, control, transportation, or recapture of youth within the jurisdiction of the Department of Juvenile Justice, and the employee may have direct and indirect contact with youth within the jurisdiction of the Department of Juvenile Justice. Training applicable to these duties will be provided.
