INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Work at the reception desk, greet and communicate with patients and providers. Answering phones. Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient. Check out patients and schedule next office appointment or any needed testing. Checking in patients and properly documenting. Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics at every visit. Capture patient picture into EMR. Filing and retrieving medical records/files. Process medical records within time limits set by Federal law or request. Referral coordination. Collecting co-pays, co-insurance, OB/surgery pre-bills, and deductibles from patients and post in computer systems. Entering payments, and balancing the day in the Confirm upcoming appointments. Two days in advance. Call No shows to reschedule.
