Job Summary and Qualifications As a Virtual Registrar, you will be responsible for timely and accurate virtual patient registration in a virtual setting. You will also interview patients for all pertinent account information and verify insurance coverage. What you will do i n this role: G reet every patient promptly through the Virtual Registration Assistant. I nterview patients to obtain account information, verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certification/authorization . M aintain a professional image through appearance and communication. D emonstrate excellent customer service. E nsure charts are completed and accurate . C alculate and collect patient liability amounts. E n sure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments. A nswer any questions and explain policies clearly. P rocess patient charts according to virtual flow needs and established productivity standard. W ork with physician offices and ancillary departments, providing information when necessary and forwarding relevant documents . What q ualifications you will need: High School Diploma or GED preferred 1 year of related experience required Parallon provides full-service revenue cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for HCA Healthcare.
