JOB SUMMARY

The Registrar’s area of technical competencies should include: Working knowledge of office equipment and computers, Medicare, TennCare, healthcare insurance payment methodologies, and financial assistance policies and procedures. General knowledge of hospital payment plan guidelines, hospital clinical departments and service protocols and healthcare coding practices. Strong communication skills required.
