Job Description

Patient Service Representative Leavitt Family Medicine Hendersonville, TN 37075 Leavitt Family Medicine is looking for an excellent Patient Service Representative to join our clinic team. As the premier local provider of primary health care, we set the standard for outstanding concierge-level medical service for our patients. Patient Service Representative Greet patients and guests according to company policy. Lead first impressions initiative for clinic. Oversee patient check-in and check-out procedures. Process patient paperwork. Assist clinic patients and visitors. Answer telephone calls. Process messages to and from patients and clinic staff. Send and distribute faxes. Schedule and Verify patient appointments. Collect and post patient payments at check-in. Balance and reconcile day sheet. Process patient referrals, orders, pre-certifications and prior authorizations. Responsible for opening and closing front office and reception areas. Assist with other front office responsibilities as assigned. Contact individuals and insurance companies to collect outstanding debts Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining successful payment collection Utilize medical terminology and account coding knowledge to effectively communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies If you are interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply today.
