Description Registrar•
Days Job Summary:
Registers patients and processes related paperwork.
Interviews patients, prepares standard registration forms, and performs other admission or transfer related tasks.
Performs clerical and secretarial work as needed. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Typically reports to a supervisor and/or manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.
