Job Summary andQualifications We are currently looking for an ambitious CertifiedRespiratory Therapist to help us reach our goals. As our CertifiedTherapist, you will evaluate the respiratory needs of yourpatients. You will also develop and implement the Respiratory CarePlan for your patients. Your duties and responsibilities may include:

You will be responsible for the application and operation of acutecare ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanicalventilation. You must be self-directed in the absence of thefull-time Team Leader. You will maintain all department andhospital records and enter accurate information into the hospitalcomputer for the therapy as given. You will set up and administerall routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patientsof all ages.

Requirements:

Completion of a Vocational/Technicalprogram or an AMA approved respiratory care program (AssociatesDegree); Bachelor Degree preferred. Current Florida State License(CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist. American Heart AssociationBLS health care provider required. ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6months of hire. Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting,kneeling and moving equipment. HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400bed acute care hospital in Brandon, FL.
