Description:
The position involves working in a Level 3 NICUsetting. The unit typically has 36 beds. There are 2 Therapistsduring night shifts for optimal coverage. The standardpatient-to-therapist ratio is maintained during peak volumes. Keyequipment includes Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, andNitric Oxide systems. The electronic medical record system in useis Meditech and NeoNotes. Candidates must have experience inventilator management and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
Surfactant administration and blood gas acquisition are keyresponsibilities. A positive attitude and strong critical thinkingskills are essential. The ideal candidate will be detail-orientedand able to work independently.
