BLS 13 week Registered RespiratoryTherapist travel assignment Client in Miami, FL is looking for aRegistered Respiratory Therapist to help them out for 13 weeks.

ESSENTIAL WORKFUNCTIONS

Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans Examine and interview patients with breathing and/orcardiopulmonary disorders Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity orcollecting blood/sputum samples Treat patients through various methods including chestphysiotherapy and aerosol medications Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receivingthe correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate Observe and record patient status and progress Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly takemedication and use equipment Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapyprogram One years’ recent experience as a Respiratory Therapistrequired Current BLS Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for thisposition Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonalcommunication skills, ability to read/comprehend writteninstructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills

Physical Abilities:

Remain in a stationary position, moveabout, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
