• _AdventHealth Apopka_ + AdventHealth Kissimmee is a 242-bed community-focused hospital + Conveniently located near Walt Disney World + The team is here is dedicated to bringing mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of Osceola and Orange Counties + AdventHealth Kissimmee has recently expanded our existing tower by 3-floors and 80-beds, including new ancillary spaces such as Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services.

• The role you’ll contribute:
• Asses, evaluates, and modifies the patient respiratory plan of care.
• The value you’ll bring to the team:
• + Assesses patients to determine treatment type and frequency.

Develops plans of care based on assessment evaluation of patient + Implements and monitors respiratory patient care plans and associated equipment + Monitors, records and communicates patient condition to interdisciplinary team. Performs advanced respiratory care modalities. Within the defined scope of practice. Provides life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities + Evaluates respiratory practices, medication administration, and treatments based on patient outcomes. Provides, preventable, supportive, and corrective interventions related to the cardio-pulmonary system in assigned patient care areas in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies

• The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
• :•Minimum qualifications:•_2/28/22_ + High School Grad or Equivalent + 3 years’ experience + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification + Certified respiratory Therapist (CRT) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) •Preferred qualifications:•Master’s degree in a related field, or combination of Bachelor’s degree and related experience •Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
