RESPONSIBLE FOR
Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care proceduresand protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, bloodgas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment andpatient education.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care, or successfulcompletion of department specific orientation including skillsvalidation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities ofthis level.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as aRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite StateBoard of Medical Examiners.
BLS, ACLS
(ALS can be used in place of ACLS) and PALS required
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Current certifications in
BCLS, ACLS.
Must be actively practicingand maintaining all required competencies.
