JOB PURPOSE
Performs patient assessments, generalrespiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care proceduresin adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and managementof all equipment and patient education.
Required Hours:
WeekendOption 7pm-7am
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy. Graduate of an accreditedschool of Respiratory Therapy.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Credentialed bythe National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered RespiratoryTherapist (RRT) and Licensed by the State of Georgia under theComposite State Board of Medical Examiners.
BLS, ACLS
(ALS can beused in place of ACLS) required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must beactively practicing and maintaining all required competencies.
