  • RRT/CRT, Respiratory Therapy Shift/Hours:

    Full-Time

  • 36 hours/week, 7A-7
PJobDescription:

Administers safe, effective respiratory treatments, andeffective medical gas therapy consistent with current standards ofpractice, to restore normal cardio-pulmonary function.

CustomerService Meets customer relations expectations: Is accountable for his/her behavior. Interacts with internal and external customers using AIDETmethodology Is accountable for his/her behavior. Actions contribute toimproved customer satisfaction outcome Interacts with internal and external customers.

MeetsProfessionalism Standards Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner Assumes the responsibility for his/her professional growth anddevelopment. Uses proper communications channels, maintains confidentiallyof customer information and protected healthcare information,(PHI) Attends staff meetings as required, participates in trainingprograms, ensures completion of annual competencies. Stays up to date with Health System information by reviewingwritten and electronic communications from various sectors of theSystem. Works within and as a member of the Sleep Disorders Team but isable to function independently when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.

CRT will also be consideredat the appropriate CRT rate.

Qualifications:
Education, Credentials,Licenses:

Registered Respiratory Therapist as described by the NationalBoard for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Holds current mandatory certification in the state to practiceRespiratory Therapy in the state where work is beingperformed. Associate degree in applied science or equivalent. All Registered respiratory therapists must maintain theircredential as described in the Continuing Competency of theNational Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Failure to maintain thecredential will result in a demotion transfer to RespiratoryTechnician until their credential is reinstated by the

NBRC ACLS

certification

  • if not already certified, will be requiredpost-hire
