The qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)may be eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on bonus and up to $7,500 forRelocation. Our Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) serve asintricate leaders of the healthcare team by establishing anauthentic personalized relationship with the patient and theirsupport system. Respiratory therapists practice under respiratoryand ventilator management protocols with a high degree of autonomy.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

•

Licensure/Certification:

Current RCP licensure in appropriate state, required. BLS required;ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities:

It is the responsibilityof every Novant Health team member to deliver the most remarkablepatient experience in every dimension, every time.

• Acts as apatient advocate for the patient and their support system byincorporating education in the interdisciplinary care plan.
• Prioritize job duties according to patients’ needs and changingacuity levels and ensures timely completion of care interventions,medical orders, etc.
• Administers and evaluates medicationtherapies, performs patient transfers and transports patients.
• Ability to evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate routinerespiratory care such as ABGs, bronchial hygiene therapy, etc., aswell as perform higher levels of care in critical care areas andemergent situations.
• Demonstrates independence in the specialtyof Respiratory Care. Practices according to state requirements andstandards.

Critical Care Specific:

Ventilator management, codeblue, airway management, interpretation and intervention with bloodgas analysis, use of all related protocols for patient care. AtNovant Health, one of our core values is diversity and inclusion.
