About:

Thisjob provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services,diagnostic testing and ventilation support services to bothin-patients and out-patients ranging in age from neonatal togeriatric. Monitors and weans Oxygen Therapy and Artificialventilation, draws, analyzes and reports Arterial Blood Gases andEKGs, and delivers intermittent therapy. Assists with changing ofartificial airways, and provides services as ordered by a physicianand in accordance with established policies andprocedures.

Experience:

2 years prior experience required. Neonatal experience required for this location.

Associate’s Degree –

RequiredCertifications:

Required – Current License as a Respiratory Therapist via-NBRC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American HeartAssociation Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) PALSKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entryand retrieval of patient information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications andkeyboard. Effective verbal and written communication skills and theability to present information clearly and professionally tovarying levels of individuals. Strong analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills.

Job Duties:

Performs routine and advanced therapeutic procedures accordingto established policy and procedure. Reviews and documents all clinical information regarding eachpatient. Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatmentplans. Performs diagnostic procedures. Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational,safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of patientserved in assigned area. Maintains professional certifications and up-to-date knowledgeof technical procedures. Attends staff meetings. Other related duties as required.#TB_HCTalent Burst Job ID#25-31164.
