Respiratory Therapist Job Summary:

A Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating patients with breathing disorders such as asthma, emphysema, and pneumonia. They work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide education on proper breathing techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Conducting diagnostic tests to evaluate patients’ lung function Administering medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed by physicians Monitoring patients’ vital signs and adjusting treatment plans as needed Educating patients on respiratory conditions and self-care techniques Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications and Skills:
