Respiratory Care Supervisor (Night Shift) Position Available In Suffolk, Massachusetts

Job Description:

The Respiratory Care Supervisor will provide oversight andleadership for Respiratory Therapists and ECMO Specialists across avariety of clinical programs and settings. This role includessupervision of departmental operations, performance evaluation,clinical care delivery, and participation in quality improvementinitiatives.

Schedule:

36 hours per week (Night Shift)

KeyResponsibilities:

• Supervise Respiratory Therapists and ECMOSpecialists across various clinical areas.
• Evaluate staffperformance, provide counseling, and apply disciplinary measures asneeded.
• Oversee operations of the Respiratory Care Department andECMO Program.
• Maintain and monitor staffing, equipment levels,and resource utilization.
• Deliver direct and consultativerespiratory care and extracorporeal life support.
• Lead thedevelopment and evaluation of clinical practices, technicalstandards, and departmental procedures.
• Promote professionalismwithin the department.
• Participate in quality improvementinitiatives and represent the department in clinical programcollaborations.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

• Associate’sDegree required; Bachelor’s Degree in a complementary fieldpreferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of clinical experienceas a licensed respiratory therapist.
• At least 3 years ofexperience in a pediatric specialty.
• Completion of ECMO trainingand 1-2 years of clinical experience as an Associate ECMOSpecialist.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current Massachusettslicense as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered RespiratoryTherapist (RRT) certification from the National Board ofRespiratory Care.
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential.
