Summary:

The Trainee•Respiratory Care role works under the direction of the Manager of Respiratory Care, the Charge Therapists and the Respiratory Therapists in providing all medically sanctioned therapeutic, supportive and monitoring modalities to patients as prescribed by physicians/advanced practice practitioners, their representatives or by department protocols in all areas of the hospital.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

Active enrollment in a Respiratory Therapy program and pursing credentials which will qualify for Licensure required.

License/Certifications:

Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Experience:

Completion of 300-500 hours of clinical hours preferred.
