RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care. Review and evaluate history, physical exams,current vital signs, admission and current respiratory care ordersfor each patient; advise providers on appropriate respiratory careprocedure and techniques Planning & Documentation. Initiate and update respiratory careplan for all patients per department policy and procedure; workcollaboratively with other members of the healthcare team toimplement the plan of care; monitor and document all pertinentclinical parameters and assessments on all assigned patients;modify treatment techniques based on patient response Education & Communication. Provide and document patienteducation for therapeutic procedures performed; communicateinformation regarding patient’s clinical status to appropriatemembers of healthcare team; participate in the instruction andorientation of Respiratory Care team members, students and otherallied health professional

For disease specific care programs refer tothe program specific requirements of the department for furtherspecifications on experience and educational expectations,including continuing education requirements. PAYRANGE

$35.42•$52.55 The listed base pay range is a good faithrepresentation of current potential base pay for a successful fulltime applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible foradditional pay components. Pay is determined by factors includingexperience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity,location, and contracts.
