As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play a keyrole in assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathingand cardiopulmonary disorders. You’ll work with patients of allages in acute and critical care settings, helping to improverespiratory function and overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapies, treatments, and medications
- Operate ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
- Monitor and document patient response to treatment
- Assist inemergency situations, including code blue response
- Collaboratewith physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educatepatients and families on respiratory health and equipment use
Requirements:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license (state-specificor eligible)
- NBRC credentials: RRT or CRT required
- BLScertification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred (based onfacility)
- Minimum 1 year of recent RT experience in a hospital oracute care setting
