UNC Health Job Description:

As aTravel Respiratory Therapist, you’ll play a key role in assessing,treating, and caring for patients with breathing andcardiopulmonary disorders. You’ll work with patients of all ages inacute and critical care settings, helping to improve respiratoryfunction and overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administerrespiratory therapies, treatments, and medications
• Operateventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
• Monitorand document patient response to treatment
• Assist in emergencysituations, including code blue response
• Collaborate withphysicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educatepatients and families on respiratory health and equipment use

Requirements:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license (state-specificor eligible)
• NBRC credentials: RRT or CRT required
• BLScertification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred (based onfacility)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RT experience in a hospital oracute care setting
