Job Summary Reporting to the Director ofCardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, provides a wide rangeof diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, for inpatient and out patients of all ages. Minimum QualificationsEducation High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate ofa Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission onAccreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)required. Experience Previous RT experience strongly preferred.

Previous patient care experience preferred. Appropriate clinicalrotations during the RT program are considered as satisfactoryexperience. Licensure and/or Certification Must have currentlicensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a RespiratoryTherapist. RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)required. BLS healthcare provider required. NPR certificationrequired within 6 months of hire. Skills Good communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortableduring procedures. Must be able to read, write, and communicate inEnglish. Computer skills required. Ability to maintain confidentialinformation.
