At The McGuire Group, we’re seeking a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (RT) who is passionate about guiding others—not just treating symptoms. This role is perfect for an experienced RT who thrives in a consultative, educational role and wants to use their knowledge to support both patients and staff in a long-term care setting.
What You’ll Do:
+ Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and risk evaluations + Educate residents, families, and facility staff on pulmonary care plans and preventive strategies + Use your clinical experience to train others in best practices, safe equipment use, and early intervention techniques + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to reduce hospitalizations and improve outcomes + Support compliance and quality improvement efforts across the facility
What We’re Looking For:
+ Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT or RRT) in New York State + Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred + Strong communication and teaching skills + A passion for coaching, mentoring, and making respiratory care accessible to others + Compassionate, patient-focused mindset + 1-2 years experience
