The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across various settings, including critical care environments. This role is essential in supporting patients with respiratory conditions and ensuring their comfort and safety during treatment. Duties Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients, including those in ICU and PICU settings. Perform airway management procedures and monitor vital signs to assess patient status. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care techniques and equipment usage. Conduct assessments of patients’ respiratory conditions, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatment outcomes. Participate in emergency response situations, providing critical care support as needed. Stay current with advancements in respiratory care practices, particularly in pulmonology and geriatrics. Experience Candidates should possess a strong background in respiratory therapy, with experience in critical care settings preferred. Familiarity with hospital medicine practices, operating room procedures, and the management of patients across various age groups is advantageous. Essential skills include proficiency in basic life support techniques, airway management, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
