Lead Respiratory Therapist Nights Position Available In Sumner, Tennessee

Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications. Leads daily staff activities for an assigned area or function.

Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)

• Required to be current upon hire.

ACLS and PALS from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) and NRP Certification

Licenses:

Licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with ABG endorsement. Temporary initial licensure letter by the State of Tennessee as a graduate respiratory care practitioner, acceptable, without ABG endorsement, until state licensure is issued.
