Category Schools – SLP Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on providing essential speech-language pathology services to students, ensuring their communication needs are effectively met within the school environment.
Qualifications:
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students Strong assessment and intervention skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaborative skills Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy
Location:
Heflin, AL Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students’ speech and language needs Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student requirements Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocacy for student needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
