As a Home Health Speech LanguagePathologist, you will:
- Evaluate, direct and providespeech/language pathology service to patients in the home orfacility
- Participate in the development and periodic review ofthe Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
- Utilize professionalskills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech,voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify,evaluate and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and applications oftherapeutic treatments including audio logic screening.
- Observe,record and report changes in the patient’s condition and responseto treatment to supervisor and/or the physician.
- Provideinstruction and training to patients in use of alternativecommunication systems when appropriate.
- Provide counsel andinstruction to patients, families and healthcare staff.
- Maintainand submit documentation as required by the Company and/orfacility. Prepare and submit timely written reports of evaluations,visits, summaries, care plans, care coordination activities andprogress reports as required by Company policy.
- Participate incare coordination activities and discharge planning.
- Maintain thehighest standards of professional conduct in relation toinformation that is confidential in nature. Share information onlywhen the recipient’s right to access is clearly established and thesharing of such information is clearly in the best interests of thepatient.
- Attend, participate in and/or conduct internal staffdevelopment programs, obtain continuing education as required byCompany policy, regulation.

Required Experience/Skills:
- Meet the education and experiencerequirements for Certification of Clinical Competence inSpeech-Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum ofsix months experience as a speech therapist / speech-languagepathologist
- Home Health experience a plus
- Current andunrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Goodorganizational and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license,auto insurance and reliable transportation. Pay Range

- $106,200 per year base payScheduled Weekly Hours 1 Pay Range The compensation range belowreflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time(40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
The payrange may be higher or lower based on geographic location andindividual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills,knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $59,300
